Our Vision

At Orunie, we combine the vivid palette of traditional Indian folk techniques and modern functionality to weave an urban Indian folk tapestry. We strive to add more design value to the objects that define us, creating traditionally inspired products for the contemporary experience. Our vision is to make good design more accessible for our users, and on creating well designed products inside and out – objects that look good, while also offering easy functionality.

Our Beliefs

At Orunie we have a strict Zero Waste and Fair Trade Policy.
We responsibly source surplus fabrics from factories and create our own surfaces and designs to make our products, such as: bags, lamps, scarves and jewellery.
All the left over fabric is then utilised to make smaller products like pouches and bunting.
We work with a variety of crafts people and we always make sure that their skills are showcased and they are paid fairly.
